Email Marketing Specialist

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and creative Email Marketing Specialist with strong experience in Klaviyo to plan, build, and optimise our email marketing campaigns. You'll be responsible for driving customer engagement, retention, and revenue through strategic automation, segmentation, and performance analysis. We are working with a UK-based firm, so candidates must have good spoken and written English.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns through Klaviyo, including flows, newsletters, and promotional sends.
- Design and build engaging email templates aligned with brand guidelines (using Klaviyo's drag-and-drop or custom HTML).
- Segment audiences based on customer behaviour, purchase history, and engagement data to deliver personalised experiences.
- Manage and optimise automated flows such as welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Monitor performance metrics (open rates, CTR, conversion, revenue per recipient, etc.) and implement A/B testing to improve results.
- Collaborate with creative, content, and eCommerce teams to align campaigns with product launches, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
- Maintain list health by managing deliverability, opt-ins, and compliance with email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.).
- Report and analyse campaign performance, generating actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Explore opportunities to expand into SMS marketing through Klaviyo or other platforms if it aligns with business goals and customer engagement strategies.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in email marketing or lifecycle marketing, preferably in eCommerce.
- Proficient in Klaviyo, including flows, segmentation, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and customer journey mapping.
- Experience with A/B testing, performance tracking, and data-driven optimisation.
- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
- Good spoken and written English (working with UK-based firm).
Preferred Qualifications
- Home & Furniture eCommerce experience preferred.
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge for email editing.
- Familiarity with Shopify, Google Analytics, or other CRM/marketing tools.
